
I believe that customer service is one of the toughest jobs. Not only
do you have to deal with a wide variety of customer personalities, you also have to deal with many irate customers. It's not that tough physically, although you sometimes have to stand up for eight hours a day, but it really is mentally tough. I would come home most days just exhausted because interacting with customers takes so much energy out of you. It's the real needy customers that suck all that energy! They don't get any attention at home, so they come shopping and require you to do everything for them. And then there's the customer who gets irritated because you didn't greet them within 30 seconds. I have to admit that I'm one of those customers :) Oh, let's not forget about the picky customer....
