How To Be Successful In Customer Service

"I provide extraordinary service and reap rich rewards"

This is an affirmation that Chellie Campbell provides in her book, "The Wealthy Spirit:  Daily Affirmations for Financial Stress Reduction," which I highly suggest not only because she shares her wisdom and helps people who stress about their finances, she also provides helpful advice for people in business. 

Chellie tells the story of the service she received from Stephanie, the owner of a little boutique called "Stephanie's".   Chellie often window shopped at the Stephanie's, but thought the clothing was out her price range.

Well, one day at a Chamber of Commerce mixer, Chellie won a 20% off voucher to - you guessed it - Stephanie's.  Chellie immediately went shopping and was greeted by none other than Stephanie herself.  Stephanie sat her down and began asking her detailed questions about her wardrobe and lifestyle.  Chellie was so thrilled with the personalized and extraordinary service that she ended up spending $1,200 that day - and thousands more since.

Chellie advises business people in regards to customers: "Make buying from you a pleasure. Make seeing you a pleasure.  Make hearing your voice on the phone a pleasure.  Make everything about being with you a pleasure."
