Happy Employees = Happy Customers

I believe that taking care of your employees produces happier woman_running.jpgemployees, thus your customers receive great service.  I'd like to give Kudos to a couple companies I know of that takes care of their employees:

Travelodge - I worked at the Travelodge reservations call center for a summer during college.  I could tell that this company cares about the health and well-being of their employees.  There was a workout gym onsite where employees could workout during their lunch break or after work.  I loved to let off some steam during the middle of the day and come back to work more relaxed.

Starbucks - I've never worked for Starbucks, but a friend told me that they offer benefits to employees who work part-time.  That's a very rare thing in the corporate world.

Now, if only I could find a company that offers benefits for part-timers AND has a workout gym!
