
Yes, technology is moving at the speed of light. I can't seem to keep up with all the new gizmos out there...iPods, portable DVD players, phones that pretty much do everything for you. With CRM, it's the same way. Many services nowadays can be done with computers - checking out at the grocery store, booking airline tickets and checking in at the airport - everything is computerized. It's a bit scary.
In an article at the CRM Blog, a question is posed:
"And will customers mind? Of course, they will. Because it is in human nature to seek the warmth in a service. So for all you know, once we establish this mad race for technology supremacy, CRM will be reworking on how to include the human touch in marketing strategies!"
