Today Insurance Journal reported that Citizens Property Insurance has closed more than 90% of claims for victims of Hurricane Wilma, and over 91% of total hurricane claims, including hurricanes Dennis and Katrina. I would call that great customer service, eh?
"The numbers tell the tale," Bob Ricker, Executive Director of Citizens explained. "Not only have we closed almost 100 percent of our 2005 hurricane claims, our consumer complaints as a percentage of claims are 1.3 percent. This is a phenomenal improvement."
It's great to hear that there are insurance companies that are doing their best to help those affected by the hurricanes. I was hoping that we haven't forgotten about those people!
