Customer service training is not just for CSR's anymore. The Scottsdale Unified School District sent employees to a customer service training class yesterday which was taught by Bruce Lange, the general manager of The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Phoenix.
According to Scottsdale Superintendent John Baracy, the training is very important. "We live in a marketplace in competition with charter and private schools," he said. "Customer service is one of the factors that is important to us."
The school district is undergoing a plan to improve the school environment, how it interacts with the public, and making sure that problems and concerns are addressed and responded to.

OOne day people will realize that customer service is the basis of people interaction, or is it the other way around.
We so often forget that it is the thinking of others first that can make the difference. Create good customer experiences and you have customer loyalty. In this case keeping parents happy keeps them on the schools side, but what about the students?
Good customer experience management in the classroom makes a difference there too. In a recent study that we at http://customerservicedevelopmentcenter .com have conducted in this area we have found a remarkable improvement in student participation and in their achieving learning adjectives.
Good experiences apply to everyone and when managed correctly are not just good for education, but are great for business.
